Since 2006 IPOL supports industrial and logistics companies from different sectors worldwide. Originally, IPOL emerged as an engineering service provider and consulting company being a spin-off from Ilmenau Technical University and has been managed by its founders and owners ever since. Grown by its own strength, today an interdisciplinary team of 30 process experts, software developers and operational implementers work on the holistic conception, planning and implementation of lean material and information flows. To date, over 600 projects have been successfully completed for more than 240 customers. A strong team spirit, based on demanding and challenging projects, both national and international, as well as the cooperation with specialists in various fields leads to a long-term employee retention, which clearly distinguishes us from our competitors. This long-term employee retention is fundamental for our extensive experience and expertise. Through cooperation with over a dozen universities, partners and experts, we are constantly expanding our know-how. At the same time, we contribute to research and education by offering a broad range of interdisciplinary lectures and courses, based on our project experience.
